Yoga & pilates services

  • A fun and innovative program that is designed to engage young children aged 2 years and up and introduce them to the concepts and endless benefits of Yoga. We focus on making playful yoga shapes through creative story telling whilst exploring mindfulness and different breathing activities. This program is run exclusively through day care centre's and preschools. If you'd like your centre to get involved please reach out.

  • For anyone in the community who has, or is, experiencing a form of trauma within their life, this practice provides a gentle routine that allows room for safe and mindful movement  whilst becoming more aware of what's going on in your own body. The focus is on empowering choice in individuals so that we can move and breathe within our own body when navigating the challenges in around us. This supportive practice encourages movement with no expectations where we simply explore our own personal practice and curiosity whilst learning to self regulate and be as present, connected and balanced as we can.

  • Ideal for both pre and post-natal students, Lauren's class accommodates for a variety of mobility restrictions often encountered during and/or after pregnancy, including reduced core strength, hip and pelvic floor instability, and high/low blood pressure. This modified class is designed to reduce stress, bring you back to strength and help you re-connect with your body through breath and movement.

  • This gentle class is especially designed for mothers at least 6-weeks post-natal and their babies (earlier participation will require a doctors clearance). Bubs are incorporated into the class, honoring this stage as a special time for bonding with your little one and nurturing your body through strength, stretch and relaxation poses.

  • Great for beginners and all levels. Yogalates combines stretches, meditation and breath work from the practice of Yoga and combines this with the strength and stability of Pilates, making this a perfect all-rounder that provides variety in every class. We use props such as Foam Rollers and Resistance Bands in this practice.

  • Yoga in which movement is synchronized to the breath. This style is sometimes also called flow yoga, because of the smooth way that the poses run together and become like a dance. The breath becomes an important component because the teacher will instruct you to move from one pose to the next on an inhale or an exhale.

  • A deeply meditative practice which focuses on clearing blockages in body & mind whilst enhancing circulation. It is slow-paced with postures being held for longer periods of time—five minutes or longer per pose. This nurturing practice regulates the flow of "qi" within the body, enhancing strength, health and well-being. Highly recommended for those with mental stress and tension in their lives, or simply those wanting a very good stretch.  Close your eyes and let this practice take you on a journey of deep personal awareness and connection.

  • Tailored to the needs of  the aged care community, Mindfulness & Movement classes are brought to aged care facilities or to the individuals private home. We provide a mobile service performed seated in a chair. The 30-45min session includes, Physical movements (gentle joint and muscle mobility and strengthening, increase circulation and pain relief), mental stimulation (brain games and memory activities), emotional support (mindfulness/meditation techniques and breathing tools). Overall we aim to help to decrease stress and anxiety improving overall health and well being. Our programs can be tailored to suit those in high or low care.

  • Mat-based Pilates class focuses on strength, stability, posture, proper breath control, and flexibility. Each class will work to balance all muscle groups' strength and flexibility, with an emphasis on challenging the core muscles with each movement. Classes are taught using slow, controlled movements. Suitable for all levels.

  • provides a full-body workout that helps develop a strong core and tone a variety of major muscle groups and stabilising muscles. Reformer tones and builds strength by adding springs to certain movements where you can increase the exercise resistance and intensity. Suitable for all levels.
